General Business

The Club History  Book. Wally advised that Barry P. had been very busy and the completed writing of the 80's had been reviewed and wholeheartedly approved by Mike & Wally. Barry will do the 90's next after Richard P. returns. The first 10 chapters was written by Mike in the first person and will be rewritten in the third person to get it flowing. Next will be photos most of which having been scanned by Darryl.   Aim is to use the 1000 metings as the break point – the end of a decade  It will be  40 year book. Barry will ring people to get personal recollections over the next few months to enliven the text. Personal anecdotes are needed he felt. Mike S. is very happy with the second decade and believes the conversion of the first decade will be great. 'Very pleased to be getting somewhere at last'

Bob Detheridge  now lives in the Phillipines. He has been hankering for a T Type and entered into negotiations with Peter Briggs and bought the Cream Cracker coloured car. John will look after it. Bob who was a member in 1962 wants to rejoin the Club. TG Tacho missing otherwise a very good, quick car. Inch and a half SU's.

John L was offered a box of Leyland Parts at the Cannington Swap Meet. He Googled in the part numbers and found he had parts for TR5's and TR7's.

Digital Angle Gauge. Mike S. bought one at Bunnings and found it works very well.
